Three new partners appointed at CMS von Erlach Henrici, Switzerland

CMS von Erlach Henrici is pleased to announce the appointment of the three new partners Stefan Brunnschweiler, Philipp J. Dickenmann and Tobias F. Somary.

Stefan Brunnschweiler (lic. iur., LL.M.) joined our firm in 2001. He graduated from the University of Zurich in 1997 and after serving as a law clerk at the district court of Winterthur, was admitted to the bar. Stefan completed a master program at the University of San Diego School of Law (Master of Laws, LL.M.) in 2000 and worked as a foreign associate with Higgs, Fletcher & Mack in San Diego (USA) before returning to our firm by the end of 2003. Stefan offers a full range of legal services to domestic and international clients. His practice areas comprise Mergers & Acquisitions, Competition Law and Corporate Law.

Philipp J. Dickenmann (lic. iur. LL.M.) joined our firm in 2002. After graduating from the University of Zurich in 1996 and serving two years as law clerk at the District Court of Zurich, Philipp was admitted to the bar in 1999. Thereafter, he worked with the Zurich-based business law firm Niedermann Attorneys for two years and earned a postgraduate degree (Master of Laws, LL.M.) from the University of Chicago School of Law. Philipp has extensive experience in commercial litigation and arbitration. In addition, his practice focuses on conflict of laws and sports law.

Tobias Somary (lic. iur., LL.M.) joined our firm in 2000. He graduated from the University of Zurich in 1998. After working with the law firm Bär & Karrer, he was admitted to the bar in 2000. After four years of practicing law in Zurich, Tobias completed a masters program (Master of Laws, LL.M.) at the Law School of the Stanford University in California. Subsequent to an internship with the Silicon Valley law firm Fenwick & West LLP, he returned to Zurich to resume his practice with CMS von Erlach Henrici. Tobias has a broad practice comprising national and international contract and commercial law, private clients (estates, foundations, trusts, and succession planning), conflict of laws, life sciences, as well as intellectual property law.
