Tobias Somary advises entrepreneurs, private clients and banks in the area of wealth planning, prenuptial agreements, estate and succession planning, estate administration, inheritance disputes, foundations & trusts, charities, private banking laws, and in- and outbound relocation. Furthermore, he maintains a broad practice comprising national and international contract law, commercial law, and lifesciences. He also acts as counsel before Swiss courts in the aforementioned areas. Tobias Somary has graduated magna cum laude from the University of Zurich (Switzerland) in 1998. In 1998 and 1999, he worked with Bär & Karrer in Zurich. He was admitted to the bar in 2000 (with distinction) and joined CMS von Erlach Henrici Ltd in the same year. In 2004 he completed post-graduate studies at Stanford University, California, and subsequently worked with Fenwick & West LLP in Mountain View, California, before returning to CMS von Erlach Henrici Ltd. Since 2008 he is a partner of CMS von Erlach Henrici.
